Their window has definitely closed and they're most certainly on the down swing, but it's highly unlikely they miss the playoffs.

Making up ground is extremely hard and the two teams chasing (Minnesota and Dallas) are already at the point where they need a lot of things to go right for them to catch up.
Canucks will slide into 7/8 spot when it's all said and done and get destroyed in the first round...
