LinkedIn allows you to setup a custom URL to link to your profile. Most people make it FirstnameLastname though. Really cleans it up when linking to others which I find I do somewhat often in emails.
Under edit profile, you will see your current URL underneath your photo, just click edit.
Also the many linking to their profiles here is awesome. I would suggest having the link on here show as "My Profile" "[url=LinkedInURL]My Profile[/ url]" or something instead of including your name in the URL because as google searches later when someone goes to google your name they will come across your post here and then have access to all of your posts. If you use the same username on other forums they will then be able to search those. Might not be a huge deal for some, but many wouldn't want to give all possible future employers all this information.
