I'd kind of like him to be suspended based on just the hilarious and instantaneous bitching by a couple Swedish posters in this thread, but on the other hand you also want them to beat the best team possible. On the other, other hand, you want them to win no matter what and nobody will ever remember or care that this guy was suspended for the final game.

Yeah fair enough, I have no intimate knowledge of the IIHF rules, but just assumed that any sort of action like that would be severely frowned upon by them. But you are right, they walk to their own beat for sure.
I dont even mind that the kid did what he did and stood up for his teammate, but that doesnt mean it shouldnt have consequences.
Who knows though.
