Again, criticizing the pick (3rd Round) is completely different than criticizing the player....
Correction: some people think he may become an NHL player - he's 23 and many defensemen don't put it together until about the age of 26.

I don't think anyone thought he could be more than a 6/7 guy at best this season. And the early injury, missing training camp, and starting behind everyone else, ended any chance of that happening.

He always was, and always will be a longshot, but it would be foolish to completely write him off at this point.
