It is definetely my opinion i would be happy to hear someone elses opinion as it could just be my bias showing and a lack of patience with the rebuild.

Colborne does not produce much offence except on breakaways or when he is given tons of room; his ceiling is a 4th line center with his level of offence. He is average on faceoffs 48% and does not play much penalty kill; not much of a defensive center so i do not see what position he fills on a half decent team.

Cammaleri and Wideman require someone else to do the heavy lifting on their line at even strength and only pull their weight when played as powerplay specialists. Ideally they would be played as third line/pairing at even strength. I place the most importance on even strength play as that is what matters the most in the playoffs just look at the capitals for proof or last years blackhawks or bruins who had a 19th and 26th ranked powerplay. Wideman is terrible defensively i don't think anyone could argue against that. Cammaleri tries hard but he is tiny and does not provide much on the defensive side of the puck which i will pull some stats for if you would like but i think that should be evident just from watching him play.
