Well feel free to dig that evidence up. President Bush's international footprint prior to 9/11 was pullling out of Kyoto, cutting back US's commitment in the Balkans and setting up the missile shield. The evidence I did find that he was not isolationist but he certainly wasn't pro-invade Iraq.

Here is a timeline on Bush's Inaugaration where he talks of Iraq. Pretty much containment and improved sanctions until June 1st 2002.
