Question Mounting Vs. Placing TV On Wall Shelf

Hey all,

So probably very stupid string of questions as I'm a n00b when it comes to these things, but thought I'd ask CP faithful.

I recently purchased a Samsung UN40FH6030 40" TV, which weighs in at 20lbs and is 36.5" x 21.6" x 3.7" (width, height, depth).

I live in a condo that has aluminum studs (no wooden studs), and originally I was going to wall mount it with this wall mount Secura 26" - 47" Tilting Flat-Panel TV Wall Mount (QMT15-B2).

But now I'm thinking of using the following IKEA wall shelf unit (EKBY GRUVAN) and the following wall brackets (EKBY VALTER), maybe 2 or 4 of those brackets to place into the wall and instead of regular screws using toggle bolts from Home Depot to keep them in the wall.

Does the above seem feasible, to place the 20lb TV on a shelving unit secured by 2 (or 4?) brackets placed in the wall by toggle bolts?

Let me know, thanks guys!
