Truthfully, hockey stats are probably a century behind baseball, and the gap is unlikely to ever close significantly. Baseball is a zero sum game, and it is very,
very easy to measure most events. One pitch, one pitcher. One batter, one hit, four bases. Hockey is far too fluid and every player is basically his own x-factor.
