Hand tools, light bulbs, work gloves, garden stuff (plants in the spring, potting soil, pots, whatever), stuff for the barbeque, or air filters. Might even be able to pick up a small kitchen appliance or the like.
Or you could multiply the value of the gift card by buying a ton of drywall screws, throwing them out on the street, and opening up a tire repair shop....
