is there any well documented evidence that the kid has an attitude problem? Seems like a well liked person in the leafs dressing room, has never come out and been negative with an organization that has given him the 'tough love' approach throughout his development, including calling him out in the media for being "fat".

The only real documented negative i have read about him is that he admittedly doesn't like eating vegetables/healthy...

So far, i'd say his attitude has been just fine, and can only hope flames prospects approach some tough love and no immediate promotion to the big leagues in a similar way as kadri has early on in his career.

i actually think that he's just not a player the leafs want at the price tag he'll probably get, given the centers on their roster (bozak, bolland, holland, mclement). when healthy, i think they would prefer having bozak/bolland as their 1/2 centers, and kadri just doesn't have the size/defensive game that a carlyle team desires from that 3rd line center.
