i accidently started to install some form of malware on my computer - i thought i was downloading a book - when i realized it was some sort of malware i shut down my computer during the download because there was no other way to stop the download - the malware is called wiseconvert

i have taken the following corrective steps - first i have reverted my hard drive to a backup of my hard drive i made 3 days ago - then i updated microsoft security essentials and ran a quick scan - the quick scan found nothing malicious on my computer - i am now doing a full scan with microsoft security essentials

is there anything else that i need to do - will microsoft security essentials catch any malicious software that might be on my computer - reverting to my c drive backup likely fixed the problem but i am still kind of nervous
