I dont agree with that at all.
Burke spent much of his time before the firings away from the team, likely assessing the direction and work of his subordinates.
When Davidson was hired in cbj, he apparently was hands off with howson until howson started exploring trades for their first rounders. That was enough to put him in the crosshairs for immediate termination.
Wouldn't surprise me if inperson evaluations of things like Breen not on waivers and potential re-signing pending ufas were part of the impetus to move feaster and weisbrod out of hockey ops.
Look at all the organizational movement since. To me, there is a visible gulf in how the organization conducted business with and without feaster this year.
