Good deal...bad deal?...I'm not sure that I have the ability to judge one way or another. I do think that unless the Leafs add even better talent to their core, they will not be winning the Cup any time soon with Phaneuf as their # 1 D, and that is just fine by me. I'm just glad he didn't get traded back to the Flames.
