What? Sorry but that's terrible logic.
If Westgarth remains in the NHL and Nemisz was in the AHL the only logical way to look at is a player that would otherwise be in the NHL being assigned to the AHL.
Once the dust settles, players return from injuries etc. etc. and if Westgarth remains on the Flames roster that means one player that otherwise wouldn't have will be heading to Abbotsford. Whether it will be B. Jones, Byron, or someone else somebody will be going back because Westgarth took their spot. So again, this doesn't hurt the Heat but likely helps them. (And it would be a fair argument to complain that Westgarth is taking the job of someone else if you want but that doesn't have much to do with the Heat).
Of course this is assuming that Westgarth remains in the NHL and this isn't a precursor for another move or anything.
