Not surprised Nemisz was moved - his skating never improved to crack our squad - but westgarth is an interesting pickup because I dont know where he fits in. And it isn't like westgarth can bump jones, galliardi or Colborne out either.
I do recall chatter that some owners were impressed with westgarth during the lockout negotiations.
My only guesses are:
1) we see a promotion for ferland after the Olympics and westgarth takes his spot in Abbotsford; or
2) we have offers on the table or McGratton as current league champ and a toughie who can take a regular shift.
