Granlund seems smarter. Hagman was more a hustle type. I don't see Markus developing tunnel vision like Niklas had. Also Granlund is more of a trigger man rather than stick-handle-through-traffic and can maybe score further away from the net.
Not necessarily a good comparison when there are a couple of better ones on the team right now in Cammalleri and Stempniak, but a career like Hagman's from a non-first-rounder is usually very positive. Fans should be happy if prospects like that have any kind of significant NHL careers.

Yeah, from what I've seen of them, I don't see any hockey resemblance between Hagman and Marcus other than they come from the same country.
