I think that the 5 + a game was enough and was likely too much based on the hit itself, however the referees erred on the side of caution because of the teams involved and getting McGratton out of the game ensured that things wouldn't get stupid. I honestly think that the people who are saying that Alberts was faking injury or embellishing are grasping at ridiculous straws, much like the people who said that Seabrook was faking as Wisniewski hit him.
