I'm just generally unhappy with how Canada plays. It just seems so high risk, high reward. They're playing far too flashy and more often than not it's ineffective. The Americans (and I hate to give them credit) are playing a much 'harder' game and are willing to actually grind it out. The Canadians, for whatever reason, don't grind it out that often.
With that said, it's a minor setback and a good learning experience for the team. It's humbling to lose and I'm glad it happened early in the tournament if was going to happen.
I think Sutter did a good job adjusting throughout the game. McDavid had an 'off' game today, took a couple of bad penalties, so he benched him. Nothing wrong with that. Hudon had an excellent shift or two, so Sutter promoted him and he ended up scoring the game-tying goal. Reinhart played excellent all game, so he gave him ample opportunity to win it for Canada.
Overall, it was a frustrating game to watch, but not the end of the world. I think the Americans are going to give a Canada a real run for their money.

not sure how high risk it is? Its not like the Czechs were getting odd man rushes or anything.
If anything I'd like to see Canada use our skill more... not sure why we are so anti skill in our coaching. We've got the most talent... lets use it instead of cycling and firing shots from the point into shin pads all game long.
