But if you're never using the truck to haul stuff because it's a pain the butt, then why own a truck in the first place? I'm just not seeing any advantage a truck has over a car if you're not using it to move cargo anyways.

Seriously dude? I own a 1990 POS truck that I hot wire when I start it and only use it to haul garbage to the dump. No idea where you got the idea that I own a 2014 truck that I'm too scared to get dirty.
