I've got a few fairly hefty jackets that I'd like to give away. I was originally going to just dump in the bins by the recycling bins but wondered if there is a better place to take them?

Two winter jackets and one that is a borderline work jacket (long, black) but would do as a winter jacket for anyone in need. Is there a place to take them where they'd get into the hands of those most needing them at this time of year? Or are those donation bins good enough?

PS I feel silly starting a thread on this but maybe it'll remind some people to get rid of some of those warm clothes they're not using right now.
