It seems like a lot of Indian names just don't sound right with an English ear. I came across a Manmit (sounds like "man meat"), a Sukmit (sounds like "suck meat", a Ramandeep (sounds like "ram in deep) and a girl name "Titty" and a guy named "Herpy" (not sure how they are spelled or if they are short for something else).

I get that these might be traditional names, but I can't imagine it's always easy on the kids growing up in a dominantly English society.
