Student painters are generally miss, with a few good hits. The ones who are good have probably been doing it for some time and have that experience under their belt. A person I know is a student painter right now, and they get ripped off. The manager will come in and arbitrarly say a house will take 2 days to finish when it should take 3. Because of this, the student has to rush to get the job done. And if they don't they only get paid for the two days, and the 3rd has to be free. When hiring student painters, just remember, as with anything else in life, you get what you pay for.
