Have to jump in here. -nik is right. Vulcan, I think he knows he's wrong, but is trying to change the framing of the argument so he can claim it isn't what he originally meant.
Obviously coal fired plants are not considered hydro power. Either in casual use or specifically. Hydro means powered by the movement of water. Not by the burning of material to create steam to move turbines. Even the graphs show the distinction. Separate areas for coal power and hydro power.
Shoot, by Vulcan's reasoning nuclear power would be classified as hydro power as it uses steam too.
Just admit you goofed man. No biggie. I can see why -nik would be frustrated.
As more more Ford, I'd like to see that too, but there hasn't been much laugh worthy or cringe worthy lately. Which, while disappointing for the spectacle, might be good for Torontonians.
