I was in Seattle for the weekend and stopped by Totally Wine. As I previously mentioned, I collect the Chateau St. Jean Cinq Cepages wines. I was looking for the 2009 and 2010 vintages to make my current library up to date. I could have ordered it direct from the winery at $75 per bottle, but then there was shipping on top of that. Totally Wine had one bottle of 2009 and three bottles of 2010 left, and they were only $52 per bottle! My library is complete and I saved about $50.
The store is huge and the staff is really knowledgeable. I also bought a bottle of 2010 Sheridan Vineyards Block 1. It is the highest rated wine from Washington right now at 98 points and has a huge demand. They brought in 14 cases one week ago and have 2 cases left. It was pricy at $116 (with 10% discount for buying six mix and match bottles of wine), but has some really great reviews. I'll cellar it for a number of years and report back sometime around 2020.
If you're in the States, check out Totally Wine. The cheapest bottle they had was $2.07 and the most expensive bottle I could find was $500, so there is a price point for everyone.
