Logically if you're going to outfit a laptop with dual monitors then you might as well just get a PC. The "ease of moving" reason for the laptop is moot if you're surrounding it with parts a desktop will have anyway.

The laptop is a snapshot in time. The PC can be upgraded, just make sure you get a good quality case and it will last you for years.
