I guess it depends what your priorities are. You could be right, maybe he just wants to cash in one last time. If I'm in his spot I'm trying to win another Cup every day of the week. It's not like he's on welfare, he's made quite a few dollars over the years. And it's not like the Oilers are a contending young team that has a chance to win it all in the next couple of years.
More power to him if all he was looking for was more money to play in his hometown. But you don't get to play in the NHL forever, you might as well try to win as many Cups as you can.
