Recommendations? I've been out of the loop in new TVs forever.

Looking for 65", LED, big room (it's going in a main room with decent amount of light, basically my family room and kitchen combined). Wanting to spend around 2000, but willing to go a bit higher for a better quality and value. Would also consider getting a soundbar, but would prefer just the tv. Have looked at a handful of Samsungs, LGs, and Panasonics.

I have my Panasonic plasma and theatre set up in the basement. So I'm not in need of a receiver or anything. Just a tv for upstairs for turning on when I'm in the kitchen or entertaining.
