Why would you take two shots from that position when you have all the space in the world on a 5 on 3?
Work the puck down low and don't try to force it up high. Defencemen need to move up to the top of the circles/hash marks and pick their spots and stay open for the shot.
It was not a smart play, and the shot was blocked and cleared both times, as much as people like to disagree with me. This was a 5 on 3, not 5 on 4.
