No. I make note the order of progression at the intersection as I approach it, come to a clearly defined stop, then proceed in the order prescribed in the statutes governing a four way stop.
As to the matter of "common courtesy"?
I just do things
that I really wish others would do. How many times have you sat stuck with your right turn signal on, trying to make a right turn bay, blocked by someone traveling thru who left 2 car lengths between their vehicle, and the one ahead of them? This is even more frustrating when the access to the advance left is needlessly blocked in the same manner. No situational awareness. Half the time the person in question is busy "crotch-surfing" too boot...
As for the point about
needlessly blocking the right lane to entering vehicles when driving on a four lane divided arterial?
