Question marks like that are almost always question marks for a reason, and Nieuwendyk feels no different. If we're rolling the dice on someone I'd rather it be someone who doesn't have a terrible track record attached to his name.

I totally agree with this; I hope we either bring someone with experience or someone strongly linked to a winning organization. There are a lot of things winning organizations do differently; Iggy talked about some of that when he was in Pittsburgh. We need to develop a winning culture and that has to start from the top. From the outside it looks like players love playing for organizations like Boston, Pittsburgh and the players seem to have a real outgoing sense of "team" When Boston played here I couldn't help but notice how Boston treated Iggy like he was part of their party
and they were not going to let him go! The emotion was raw when Boston scored it was like "take that", they take winning and losing very personally.
