The funny thing is we all know it will only take two wins for everyone to jump back aboard the Oilers bandwagon again. It doesn't matter how many in a row they lose, just a small streak and everyone will clammer that Eakins has turned the ship around and that the youngsters are unstoppable.
They could start the season 0-80, and end up winning the last two games and still all the commentators would state to be on the lookout for them next season.
