The ability to know how to react when getting attacked based on experience makes him physiologically nearly unbeatable without a weapon, denying as much shows unfamiliarity with the subject at hand. Lucic has been in over 50 fights on the ice and that alone is nearly enough to make it almost impossible to hurt him. You'd have to hit him with a sucker punch when he's not looking or use a weapon.
For instance;imagine you're 6'5, 260 and you hit him as hard as you can with a hook. If he sees it coming his ingrained neural pathways will react in a way that creates defense before you hit(chin tuck, roll with the punch, move in the right direction, hands up etc.). Then you add on to the fact that the odds of getting the range perfect to land a %100 power shot is so small that it's nearly impossible, you couldn't do it unless you sneak up and he doesn't have time to react. There aren't many people that get to that stage, the large majority of people that learn mma or boxing(>90%) do not spar hard enough to have the same ability and react differently to getting hit (analogously Brock Lesnar vs. Mauricio Rua) if you'd like to talk about mma.

I think you do have somewhat of a point, that Lucic knowing how to react in a fight inherently gives him an advantage.
But I also think you might be crackers. I can't decide.
