Baertschi should not have made the team out of training camp this year. Period. His place was in the AHL and it took far too long to put him back there. His attitude and work ethic through prospect camp and training camp showed he had no place on the Flames. I'm guessing Feaster was "forcing" Hartley's hand in this and now he's not.
I think I'm in the minority where I believe this is the best decision for Baertschi and the Flames.
