It's tough to really know much about each candidate's portfolios in their current jobs. But Poulin to me has always seemed exceptionally smart and well-spoken. Obviously the relationship with Burke will be strong. Not sure of his scouting creds, but he does seem to be more of the drafting/trading/development guy to Loiselle's contracts/admin/cap.

With Benning likely going to Buffalo, Futa and Treveling not being made available, and Hextall next in line for dead-man-walking Holmgren's gig, I think Burke's choice is between Fenton and Poulin. Makes sense for Burke to go with the guy he knows.

If Burke is replacing both Feaster and Weisbrod, is out of the question that he brings in BOTH Poulin and Loiselle?
