Since I was about 16 and could drive, I make it a point every Christmas morning to make bacon. I try not to eat a lot of bacon throughout the year (this year I've fallen off the wagon mind you), but a day or two before Christmas I go and buy a pack of the high quality bacon, and make it Christmas morning. If there is a handful of family around, I will make two packs.
Every Christmas morning for about 20 years now, only exception was when I was on a boat and did not have access to a kitchen, but the cook made bacon Christmas morning anyways.
