I don't mean to be a tool, but any home owner newbie should know where to go to get paint.......given your vast experience, doing the repair should be the easy step for you, it seems the difficult part of the job for you will be to locate the material in one of the many places where these goods are sold.

I am assuming that you know this, but I'll say it anyways....cheap paint looks cheap and wears poorly....spend money, it is worth it......if you want good paint, go directly to a Benjamin Moore store.
