Than you have Tannehill, Roethlisberger, Flacco, Daulton and Smith in the next group and I think Smith has played the best of that bunch this season. He is having a career season, I am hoping that maybe he can be a bit like Rich Gannon. Decent size and mobility, with an average arm, who developed into a good QB after being in the league for a lot of seasons. Smith is unique because most number one overall QB's make it or bust out by now. I don't think too many stick around to start 120 games as an average player at the position. Which is something Smith might yet do.

I am a Chiefs fan, so this may be a little biased. But he's exceptional at making good decisions. (winning decisions). He's got a below average receiver arsenal though. Losing Baldwin, after drafting him so high really hurt the offence. Smith also has good instincts and is a deceivingly fast runner. I was stoked when we got him and he's continued to make me smile. We need to draft a big Tight End next year and sign another WR. (Fitzgerald?) That would bring the Chiefs to the upper echelon of teams.
