If any one is interested in Burial, he released a new EP last night. Gorgeous music from him, again, sure to sneak into some yet to be compiled 'best of the year' lists:

Saw Toad's new CD the other day and almost picked it up blind. Honestly, one of THE best shows I've ever seen circa 1991 @ The University of Redlands Amphitheater in Redlands, CA. Glenn Phillips is a poet.
Shearwater also just released a new album. I believe it is all covers. I heard some of it and it sounded great, but I haven't picked it up yet. They are touring in the new year, and I am going to do my best to see them.

Funny you say Toad is one of the best shows you've seen. I have never seen them live, but I have heard this from a few people, including a friend of mine who used to own a nightclub that hosted live music (and who wasn't a fan 'til he saw them live). Toad is currently touring through the US, and I've written to see if they're coming to my neck of the woods (B.C.). I really want to see them.
