Bergeron, Krecji, Lucic, Marchand, Chara, Rask were all there before Weisbrod showed up. Seguin added after but that doesn't seem like something that would have been driven by Weisbrod. Maybe he was part of the Siedenberg deal but that is not exactly a instrumental part.
I guess maybe he stopped them from trading a bunch of those guys away but that seems unlikely.
The article also praises his work in Orlando while admitting the McGrady return was bad. He drafted Howard in a decision that was split roughly 50/50 amongst experts and could have been made by scouts not him. I guess good for him for getting the coin flip decision right but hard to judge it when we have no idea what role Weisbrod played.
