Did anyone else think that whole pitch was more staged than many other reality show stages?

First they show just the skate guard, and the questions are, "oh, just a skate guard, who cares". That sets up the kid coming out on the skate guard with wheels! Now the dragons are perking up. Then they say, "oh but do you have endorsements", and the former NHLer says yes, "Chelios". Then they say, anyone else? The answer, "Oh yeah, this Treliving guy". Who conveniently answers the phone and endorses the pitch person. Then they reach a deal.

It just seemed set up to me, moreso than usual, and that before they got the AGM of the Coyotes on the phone.

Also, I suspect the product sucks. Look at the picture. How does that have any stability? Rollerblades, like skates, take a lot of pressure/force. Imagine taking your rollerblades and attaching an ice attachment. It wouldn't have stability! Turning sharp would cause the attachment to slip off.

To me it seemed they were trying to build hype for the product with the assistance of Dragons Den and the whole thing was predetermined.
