No, I was born in 1985, so I don't.
In regards to the tweets, do they differentiate between fastest selling and 'top' selling in the same way a car with a quicker 0-60 MPH time might still have a lower top speed than another? Fastest sales vs highest sales perhaps? I don't pay attention to this stuff, but if there's one thing I've learned, it's that minute differences in words chosen by marketing can make a big difference in the actual message.

Even if there is a video game crash, my backlog is so large I should be okay for a decade or two.
Yeah, the Major Nelson spin is pretty disingenuous imo. The Xbone sold great in North America, just not #1 though - so he apparently felt the need to take a really silly stab at spinning it. Based on his metric, the should have set the Xbone release for the last day of November so he could claim that one day sales
rate was multiples times the PS4 average over the month. Still less
total numbers sold either way.
Rumor now is that Microsoft will now swing more stock to North America and maybe even delay the rollout to other countries to try to keep US/Canada a Microsoft stronghold. I believe the 360 lead the PS3 in the US, Canada and the UK but the PS3 had the rest of the world. Interesting that the PS4 leads a bit (or is fairly even) in North America and the UK so far this generation. Can the Xbone do better than the 360 did in Europe and Asia? Who knows - interesting times!
