Exact same model number, SKU number, etc., everything was the same except for the colour and the price.
I purchased the London Drugs red one for $299, took it to Canadian Tire and said, "I bought this stand mixer at another store and that store did not have a white one, I was wondering if I could trade it with you guys for a white one? I do not have a receipt."
They did it no problem.
Essentially they traded a white stand mixer for a red one, I didn't see the harm in it but I still for some reason felt kind of bad.

Yea, I am not going to judge anyone here other then to say that by being assertive when purchasing things you can usually get what you want, where you want it at the best price without wasting time on some of these scams.
You walk into a store, show them the price and work out a deal. Usually they will beat it, match it, or come close. In some cases coming close is enough because i value the local service they provide.
