When Feaster reached the deal with the Bruins he told Iginla and Iggy asked him to talk to the Penguins one more time which he did and accepted a lesser offer. Feaster should have come back to the Iginla camp and said they talked but couldn't get it done and we are trading you to the Bruins. End of story as Iginla would have gone to Boston. There's no way he pulls the plug and stays after a deal being struck.
