I am surprised Feaster lasted this long after the Ryan O'Reilly thing. The timing does seem curious, but Burke must have decided that he needs to hire his new GM now to get the best deadline deals, and have a chance to get the scouting for this upcoming draft in line. Weisbrod is certainly a surprise, Burke must have people in mind, and have an idea that these individuals have their own people they want in that role. Have to think that this is certainly a lame duck coaching staff that likely doesn't last the year now. Might be a situation where Hartley is fired and Gelinas is allowed to finish out the year as the interim head coach and a full search will be done in the offseason.
