Okay I'll bite. On a small scale, yes it is a large company, and may not have an immediate or disastrous effect on the company. However, it only takes a couple abuses to change that. Suddenly, policy changes, because it does hurt the bottom line, and now everyone suffers.
I'll use something I can relate to, videogames. Because of theft, I am now forced to deal with DRM, micro transactions, season passes, DLC and other junk because a small percentage of people didn't want to pay.
Just because it appears small, does not mean it does not have a big impact.
