I bought my parents a 32inch piece of crap Viewsonic tv when they moved out to canmore. It was terrible from the start but back then it was the cheapest thin tv out there. It was $899. So reading on Red Flag they mentioned Costco's return policy, which was never ending.
So 14 months later, Costco still stocked this tv but it was now only $499. I returned it no questions asked. I even told them that i only wanted the $499 back but the Cashier wouldn't do it. She could only refund the entire $899 amount..... I felt kind of bad so i bought a hotdog.
I guess a whole bunch of other people also bought the same tv. 3 weeks later they implemented the 90 day return policy on electronics.
Sorry guys!

Costco is another retailer with a very liberal return policy.
Big difference is they know what you bought based on your card so you cant take something from X store and return it to Costco.
I know people who buy GPS go on a trip then return them and think that is an honourable thing to do. Its disgusting and those people should be ashamed. When I call them on it they say its legit and that they know person X who says its perfectly fine (its hard to argue with someone who knows some fictional person who works there who says its ok to defraud Costco).
