so i haven't participated in this thread before and only read the last few pages, so apologies if this first part has been adressed...

what did you guys think of the flow of the fall season? at first i was very perturbed that they totally ignored the governor for so many episodes and then devoted 2 straight episodes entirely to him. it felt like poor story telling so do it that way. however, as the last 2 episodes played out, i was actually happy they did it that way; because it didn't drag out the conflict like last spring did. we spent 8 weeks just waiting for the final episode and the attack. whereas this fall, from the time you learn the governor is even still alive until the time everything is resolved is much shorter. just wanted to know what everyones thoughts were.

another question i wanted to throw out there... my co-worker and i were discussing the lack of overweight people on the show. considering how obese america is (specifically the deep south where they are) shouldnt there be more fat people? in our discussion we hypothisized that there wouldnt be many fat survivors left because they would have thinned up by now with all the activity and lack of food. but it feels like there should be a LOT more fat zombies. especially if we work under the assumption that a majority of overweight people turned pretty early due to their lack of physical abilities required to survive. and dieing early would mean a greater probability of being a zombie. people that are killed now are often totally devoured and never get a chance to be a zombie unlike those that turned early on.
