They could just go the way of Infamous for DLC and just say something along the lines of "for the purpose of this content, it is assumed the player chose to take the path where X, Y, and Z happened".

I thought the decision to be able to kill one of the other characters was a little stupid. Much like some of my problems with the Infamous decision-making system, it wasn't a real decision. Kind of a "do you want to kill puppies or save the planet?" sort of thing. Why would somebody kill a character if they didn't have to?
