Really all the NFC East teams are hated to some extent because they do get quite a bit of media coverage, but the Cowboy's have their own special pedestal. I think they are the most hated team in the NFL by a big margin. The Steelers and Pats are too, and that is because they have been good teams for longer periods of time. I think by the late 80's and early 90's the Steelers weren't as disliked since they had become a bit irrelevant themselves, but with a couple Superbowl win's recently started things again. The Patriots because of the spy gate, and that they have been a playoff team for what will be like 11 of the last 12 seasons and always a pre season Superbowl pick. Really though...Dallas probably started being less hated in the 80's than had it come about again in the 90's...somehow Jerruh, has managed to still keep them well hated as the team has mostly been irrelevant on the field for the last 16 seasons.
Me personally, I hate the Colts because they keep giving franchise quarterbacks to the Bronco's, and that their owner annoys me too.
