I believe thought the Brad Richards ship has sailed though. And the pursuit won't start again by the Flames. Nor do I believe he would waive to come here. I don't have facts to back up my belief, just believe it's close to the truth.

Personally, I've never known a player to put a team on his short list and take meetings with that team right up until the very end if they are a team he absolutely does not want to play for.
I think this is more about semantics really, but to blow off the interests of other fans and compare them to Oilers fans because YOU (not you, but Chips up there) think Richards didn't want to be a Flame is ignorant.
All your example proves is that he always wanted to play for the Rangers more than the Flames, not that he didn't want to be a Flame.
